Hundreds Attend Chase Card Show in Rugeley

Over 400 Pokémon fans descended on the Lea Hall Club in Rugeley today for the second Chase Card Show, hosted by The Card Keep, which is Rugeley’s one stop shop for Pokemon Cards, situated in Brewery Street Shopping Arcade.

Fans of all ages were spoilt for choice with more than 20 traders attending the event, giving visitors the chance to buy, sell and trade cards throughout the day.

The event brought together collectors, players and families from across the region, with tables packed full of Pokémon cards, graded collectibles, sealed products and accessories. Attendees could be seen browsing binders, negotiating trades and showing off some of their favourite pulls as the venue remained busy throughout the day.

The growing popularity of trading card games was on full display, with many visitors travelling from outside the local area to attend the show. Pokémon remained the main attraction, although other trading card games and collectibles were also available from traders.

The Chase Card Show follows the continued rise in popularity of card collecting events across the UK, with community-driven shows attracting both long-time collectors and newcomers to the hobby.

Organisers are expected to announce further events very soon, following the strong turnout for the second show.
